ANATOLIAN FIRE
A FILM BY HARUN GÜLER
In the remote valleys of Cappadocia, 19-year-old Adem is forced to take over the care of his family’s buffalo herd after the sudden death of his father.

Hidden behind his phone screen, Adem escapes into the livestreams of Cheryboom, a glamorous Istanbul-based trans personality whose uninhibited online presence opens a window into a radically different world.

This is some text inside of a d

Harun Güler is a writer and director in Berlin, born and raised in Germany by Turkish immigrant parents.
After a decade as a film trailer editor, he completed an MA in Photography from the University of the Arts London, crafting his own cinematic language to explore the constructed nature of social and gender identities. His experimental work has screened at festivals such as BFI Flare and Aesthetica, alongside regular contributions to NOWNESS.
Anatolian Fire is his first narrative short film, which emerged from his debut feature Borderlining, currently in development.
